looked like lost, sleep-deprived refugees in the middle of Orchard Road,
kissed a dummy with an invertible face and a questionable gender,
known a bunch of crazy, funny, wonderful and incredibly awesome hooligans who call themselves
red cross cadets,

Hi, all~! Here is another annoucement posted by the ma'ams:) :

hey sec 1s and 2s,

it is time for sec 1 orientation preparation.

Each squad i/c, please collate the days where your squadmates are free during dec and also if they can make it on the actual orientation (1st week of sch, must be able to stay till 9++pm) i/cs, tell me the info by tomorrow, 1800h.

The practice would probably start from next wednesday.
The practice would be 2 days per week.

I will confirm with you all the days aft i receive the info(above) from the i/cs.

For souvenirs,
Each squad is to come out with one sample souvenir and gain NCOs' approval on the first day when we meet up for orientation practice
For A4 posters,
Each person is to do 2 posters.
so sec 1s, your squad have to submit a total of 48 posters
sec 2s, total of 28 posters
NcOs will tell you all when to hand the posters in when we meet for orientation practice.
We expect everyone in the squad to help out with the souvenirs and banners(camp punishment)esp those who didnt go for camp.

We're opening 3 places for cadets.
Tim: 9.30am to 5.00pm
Venue: HQ 3rd Civil Defence Division (533 Yishun Industrial Park A, #01-01, Lecture Room 2)
Nearest MRT Station: Yishun MRT Bus Servicing the Area: 169, 811
Requirement for Cadets:
*Lunch is NOT provided. (Please bring money for lunch at the canteen)
*Bring Stationary & writing material
*Dress Code: Mufti (Red Cross T-shirt & Track pants)

Details of the course:

*Emergency Procedures
*Unconventional Threats
*Evacuation Procedures
*Basic First Aid Knowledge
*Mini-Test

You can get a civil defence badge for free after passing the test which is super easy.

An overall i/c tell me the people who wants to go for this course by tmr, 1800h.
I know that there are alot of things for you guys to complete during dec,
